blogging update

Sometimes this whole "blogging" (which I've come to accept as a verb) thing makes me feel like a sixteen year old...but at the same time, when I go back and look at past memories, I am always glad that I took the time to post. I guess its kinda my abbreviated way of scrapbooking...which I never seem to have time for anymore.

Anyway....I've decided to segregate my blogging.

My xanga account is back up and active. MY thoughts, feelings, writings will be posted there. My two little miracles will be shown off on this site.

Beware of the Tickle Monster!

After changing into his favorite dino jammies, Carter and Katie snuggled up on the couch with Eric and I for a pre-bedtime quick episode of Charlie Brown (which KJ insists on calling "doggy"....too cute). Eric couldn't help but do all he could to get these last smiles out of Carter before we tucked them in for the night. I think Carter must be just like his momma....VERY ticklish...and you should have heard those belly laughs... Beware those Tickle Monster Hands!

okay...tickle time is over, time to watch the rest of the movie and then be tucked in for the night...my hope for Carter is his whole life through he always finds moments to use that belly laugh

My New Cars Hat

Carter got a new Cars Hat and matching gloves for these brisk pre-winter days. As soon as he saw Lighting McQueen he kept saying "vroom vroom" and didn't want to take it off for the rest of the night. He decided it even tasted good too :)

Katie was very excited about the new blue sparkly nail polish that Mommy bought her. In honor of our Indianapolis Colts, Katie let me paint her nails and toenails! She was so proud to show them off :)

His tail even wagged! Absolutely adorable! (Not sure the red Chuck Taylor's go with the outfit...but whatever...we'll go with it)

I spent an hour curling her hair with a real curling iron. Of course, it all fell within a half hour..her hair is just too baby fine. But she loved to have Momma's make up on....(that will be the last time for a LONG while!)
