Raking the Leaves....

A less then desirable job schedule has left me working six days a week...the hours I am definitely used to (when you're a teacher...your job never ends) but NOT the schedule. I definitely have Christmas break envy right now. Eric has been such a sweetheart about planning fun stuff for the kids to do while I'm at work. On this day, Eric, Katie and Carter tackled the massive job of trying to rake our backyard. I was actually very impressed by their progress when I got home, and the kids had a blast! Katie insisted on "saving mommy" a couple of leaves, so I wouldn't miss out on the fun.

Katie...all ready to rake leaves! (Eric, honey, the hat is on backwards...Zoe is supposed to go in the front :)

Carter forgot his hat inside (apparently) and is also very scared of the camera at this moment! This look cracks me up.

Yeah, I know the rake is twice his size...but he's working at it.

They gave up on the rakes and just started grabbing piles of leaves to put in what would eventually become their trampoline :)

My sweet girl buried in the leaves

All that work was worth all this fun!

My sweethearts.

This kinda cool photo I created using my photo editing software I got last Christmas...

Thanks, babe, for always having so much fun with the kids.
