and fall arrives...
Cooler temperatures are overtaking...and it's time to admit that fall is officially here. These pictures are from several weeks ago, and I meant to post them, but with all of the craziness in our lives, I didn't get around to it. I wish now I had, mama deb would have liked to see the kids having so much fun on the climbing dome they got for their birthdays (thanks papa jay too!). It was the last of one of those days when sweatshirts was still enough and we were happy to stay outside as long as we could...sadly, I fear those days are coming to an end...

Ok, so let's talk about this dental work. Went in yesterday for the root canal and was told I wouldn't feel a thing. I did not feel the shots, but I quickly found that my mouth wasn't numb (a total surprise to the dentist who gave me like 10 numbing shots.) After drool started dripping off my chin, they decided I was good to go, however, I still felt the drilling and wanted to come of my chair. When the saw began cutting, a horrid stench invaded my nostrils, making me want to hurl. Apparently most people have 2 roots on their teeth, but guess what, I was a medical marvel and had 5 roots on one tooth. It was so infected, he couldn't even get all the bacteria out, so I had to go home without the crown. A day later, it is much better (although I do have a couple Vicodins in my system). I just have a huge headache, which I am told goes away with the infection. Tons of antibiotics and Vicodins make it alot better. The verdict is still out for me, however, I would say it isn't anything like childbirth, but still a relatively painful experience. Hopefully, you will be numb, which would make the procedure a piece of cake :) Good luck. . .
Ask for some laughing gas, I am sure that would also make it better!
