good idea, corinne...good idea

Since nursing school has been SOOO easy lately, and I only have two 12 hour clinical shifts a week, plus studying, plus my children, plus the wedding....I thought it would be a good idea to take a second job.

good, idea corinne...good idea

NOT!  What was I thinking?  I'm finding myself trying to work and study at the same time...and it's not working.  So mostly I'm just working.  And the fact that I'm getting married in 17 days is only a little bit freaking me out.  (okay, actually a lot of bit)....

So, what do we in stressful situations?  I find humor.  Because, quite frankly, if I can't laugh I'll just cry.

I can't tell you what I'm doing at the threat of losing my job for "security reasons"....but I thought you might enjoy getting to laugh with me at the minds of the future leaders of America....

*Did you know that George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr. marched hand in hand against slavery?  News to me.  Maybe I wasn't paying attention that day.

*If everyone was allow to do what they pleased then what is the pointe of lawn inforccement?
I couldn't agree more.  Those lawn inforcers.  They get me everytime

*Criminals are not self converted people.  That's why we have jail cells.
What?

*You should carry your worth discipline and your etiquette discipline with you wherever you go.
So....that's been the problem all long, I keep forgetting my etiquette discipline!

*In the Constitution of States it says that you have freedom until you harm another.
What?  Why?  oh....just....nervermind

see...this is fun, right?  since I'm trying to limit my amount of crying while in nursing school, I've decided to cry with laughter.  It's good for the mind.

*a 74 word sentence (that I will not subject you to)
i cannot tell a lie.  periods, people.  use 'em.

*Many full-proof scientific studies over the years have shown that infants who delay their gratifying will have more life long success.
study?  ha!  this "study" is full of something...and it's not proof!

Okay, I'll stop now...I really am kinda afraid of getting fired by the powers at be.  Hopefully they have better things to do than read my blog.

And because no blog post would be complete without some kind of picture, I will show you two children that I guarantee will know that George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr. did not live at the same time.  They will also use periods.  Actually, they will use all grammar correctly.  Aren't they lucky to have a (former) English teacher as a mom??
