day eighteen

(a picture of someone who has taught you many things of life)

Yes, she's my little sister but she has taught me SO many things about life....

Brittany has taught me that traveling off the beaten path is a lot more fun (and usually smarter).
No one has a Hallmark life, no matter what it looks like.
Sometimes, it's kind of fun to do the impossible.
You can do anything, no matter how much it scares you.
Don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal...it really just makes you an ugly person.
With time comes forgiveness, and with forgiveness, comes healing.
That the love of family is really paramount to everything else

I have to give credit to my little sister and her love on this one.....to Mark for saying it, and making Britty believe it, and to Britty for repeating it to me enough that I believe it.

YOU DO YOU.  I'LL DO ME.

She has taught me that life is about remembering the miracles, celebrating them, but most importantly giving back.
How big a heart really can be.

And surely this Christmas ornament is proof that she must simply adore me :)

She has taught me how to be silly, salacious and sardonic and maybe even find some self-confidence in doing it...
Cooking in, especially when cooking with Mark, is way better than going out.  That man has spoiled me to death with food.
How to be comfortable in my own skin...or at least give it my hardest try.

I am the luckiest.
To have all these women in my life who love me,
who are a part of me,
who I could never have made it this far without.

Dude, we are so weird for posting about each other at the same time.

This is by far one of the kindest, sweetest, most considerate things anyone has ever written about me. I hope I really am the kind of person you portray me as. :)

Cheesy but true - sisters by fate, friends by choice.

Here's to us becoming the best people we can be, and motivating and cheering each other on every step.
