When I saw the stool go walking by in the arms of my 4 year old...I asked her what she was doing, and shrugged away her non-committal response. Then went my fake-uggs, oddly cared on their hands like paddles...then a SpongeBob mitt....now, the toddler bed mastered rousing me out of my "I'm focused on my work right now" mode. And when I walk into the kitchen, this is what I find.... And, like every parent, I'm sure...I ask, "what in the world are you doing?" And the answer comes from the lips of my children as if I am from another planet...seriously. Why, mom, of course the toddler bed mattress is a boat and we had to have paddles so we're using your shoes...they worked a lot better than our spongebob mitt, and the stool, I dare ask? Duh, mom...it's Katie's Captain's Chair. Yes, yes of course.
How silly of me.

I just smiled so big. This is so awesome.
CUTEST STORY EVER.
I'm so glad you document these things.
By chance, would Carter at all be interested in Thomas Legos? I have a couple hundred bucks sunk in a giant set and want to make sure they get to a good home. What do you think?
Your children are creative and I am so proud of you for that. I adore them.
Looks like your babies are ready for spring too!!! I love it that they have the freedom to explore, experiment and "live", yep...."live" life. They have the blessing of parents in whom they are confident of their love...allows them to grow in safety.
