carter's favorite jersey

I have a midterm in exactly 1 hour and 26 minutes, but ever the procrastinator, I think I will post the adorableness of my son instead of studying about panic disorders.  (Because quite frankly...that left me feeling a bit...panicky)

My son has this Colts jersey, and its adorable.  It was given to us by auntie momo when he was about a year and half old.  The size: 18 months.  18 months, people.  My son will be FOUR in less than a month.  Nevertheless, he refuses all attempts at getting rid of it, and when I tried to put it in the give away bag (not even in front of him) he went looking for it for days, until I finally gave in, and took it out of the give-away bag.  Oh dear.

As my children get older I am learning lots and lots about the differences between girls and boys...and despite my preconcieved notions, there are some pretty strange differences.  Like...Carter is an excellent dresser.  That boy can pick out an outfit, no problem.  Katie on the other hand becomes like a mismatched little zoo animal of some kind.  She's so smart, but not so smart in this area.  Also, Carter is very attuned to what is going on around him, and adapts his clothing style to match...aka, mom is mowing the lawn, I'm going to put my athletic shorts.  (not sure how that helped, buddy, but thanks :)  Don't get me wrong, I love their differences, it just cracks me up.

So my son wants to wear an infant sized jersey that is rather small...life goes on.
And he's still just about the cutest thing I've ever seen.

I am so glad he loves Brady's stuff and doesn't think of it as "second-hand." Truth is, I think of him almost every time I buy Brady something...I think about how Carter will look in it. I can't imagine what life would be without your two miracles. I adore them more than you could ever know.
