a really nice dinner with my dad, stepmom, Bev, my sisters and my eric at sahm's in fishers. this day, which is not my favorite day on the calendar, nor the easiest day for me to think about, prepare for and celebrate, it was a beautiful day. and i am grateful for my family.

It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself.
