After my last post, I was left two of the most beautiful comments that inspired me
and reminded me just how grateful I am to have a son.
The words are just too beautiful to leave on a comment board that someone might not see...so I will share.
My mama told me when I was young
Said sit beside me my only son
And listen closely to what I say
And if you do this it'll help you some sunny day
Oh, yeah it will
And if you do this it'll help you some sunny day
Oh, yeah it will
Oh, take your time, don't live too fast
Troubles will come and they will pass
You'll find a woman and you'll find love
And don't forget that there is a someone up above
And be a simple kind of man
And be something you'll love and understand
Baby be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me son if you can?
Then you can
Troubles will come and they will pass
You'll find a woman and you'll find love
And don't forget that there is a someone up above
And be a simple kind of man
And be something you'll love and understand
Baby be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me son if you can?
Then you can
Sometimes, when I look at photos of you and him like this one,
I laugh and cry at the same time.
I have this memory of you, you know the one, in the NICU by his bedside.

I have this memory of you, you know the one, in the NICU by his bedside.
He put the light back in your eyes after that ordeal.
He is the greatest gift.
Both of them are.

We are the luckiest to have him, too. To have the both of them...beautiful little inspirations...for those days that life seems just a little too hard.
